Week of December 18th

This will be a quick week as we get ready for the vacation ...

• Monday: Reading questions (and annotations) for “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” are due today.
  
• Tuesday: Work on your “sermon,” at least one page in which you motivate the audience by using fear, in the style of the two we’ll be looking at this week. In class, we’ll be looking at an old State of the Union address.
  
• Wednesday: Your sermons are due today. We’ll hear as many as we can together in class.
  
• Thursday: We’ll be attending the SADD assembly. Meet in class first.
  
• Friday: No class.

Note: Looking for a way to earn a little extra credit over the vacation? Consider submitting your creative writing to the literary magazine OR read a book and write a review (of at least one page) to turn in sometime during the week we return.
